More Cardmaking

My niece, friend, and scrapbooking buddy, Amanda, gave me these cute little chick stamps and I just received my scrappy moms stamps set order and this stamp was in it, I thought it just cried out to go togeher!
I found this beautiful paper stack at Hobby Lobby by the Paper studios and I just LOVE the content.  I fussy cut one of the birds for the inside of the card as well, love how it turned out.
My attempt at adding cricut cuts to my cards and google eyes, those google eyes just look ADORABLE on the animals.
This card was insipired by the felt heart sticker.  Love how it turned out as well.

Mini LOVE album

I have seen this idea on youtube through several different videos and just thought it was such a great idea to recycle.  I live in a house of 6 women, so we use A LOT of TP, I also started saving my paper towel rolls and will cut them down to the same size.  I used the toilet paper rolls AND I used up scraps. This is a GREAT project for your scraps and little embellishments that you might have just begging for some use! I mainly used mod podge, matte finish for all my gluing. So scotch quick dry too.  Not much, though, mostly mod podge.  (consequently, this is my first time using mod podge, I think I like it!!)  OH- the envelope is one I made...not a tp roll :).

Sorry for the poor video job...Hard to hold a camera and flip pages.  The second video shows the pull outs from each page.  All sound submitted by Lillian.  :)

I had a lot of fun making it, hope you enjoy.

Some Cards I've been working on

I really love how this card turned out, very simple but elegant
This was Lillian's 5th birthday card, I made it using the gypsy I borrowed from my niece.  Love how it turned out

A card with a stamped verse that my sister purchased for me for Christmas.  LOVE them
Thank you card, stamped with a verse.  You can't see it, but the large flower is embossed with glitter.  Very pretty.  Did some line doodles to finish it off bc it just seemed like it needed something, then added the ribbon.
My niece and nephew are expecting their first baby, this card is for them. Made it on cricut craft room.  Welded two of  the onesie images.  I already cut the little plaque or tag and I cut their last name using cricut craft room.
A birthday cad I found partially embossed and finished it off bc I'm out of bday cards
Cute little card made entirely out of my scrap paper bags.  That's my mission, to get rid of some scrap and using only scraps for cards.  The tiny print is a verse stamped.

Christmas Star

 Closed
Open
I saw this on a youtube video and thought it was great.  Had all the supplies I needed, button, ribbon, double sided cardstock, paper trimmer, and adhesive.  simple as cutting a few squares, a few folds and voila...adorable 3D star ornament.  Next year, I think I'm going to make this an advent type calendar.  Make up 25 in varying sizes and let them kids open one each day.  Pretty cool!

Rosettes

I saw this tutorial on youtube for these rosettes and I fell in love!  I knew I had to have a score board and I had my eye on the Martha Steware brand score board.  Used a 40% off coupon and got the score board.  This is such a simple little technique.  Prior to purchasing the score board, I did attempt to just accordion fold a strip of paper.  It turned out, but not very good, I'm afraid.  I decided it was worth the purchase.  I have found some other projects I'm anxious to try with the board as well.  Thanks to a FB friend who sent me the stampin' up bags, I was able to complete these little treats for Lillian's classmates.  I made the birdies with my three birds on parade cricut cartridge.

You can change the size of the rosettes just by making the strip of paper thinner.

Lay strip length wise and score every quarter inch.
You can see I made a couple different sizes

I stickled their hats and boots
Finished product!! She's excited to take them to school.
