Keeping on with the heart theme

Although this card has a much more serious meaning.  Looking back at my older work, I've made something very similar to this.  This is a 5x7 sympathy card.  I embossed the black panel on my scoring board.  The heart dies are old from stampin up.  The sentiment is heat embossed .  I think this makes a very beautiful and heartfelt card and could easily be switched up for different occasions.

Pinterest inspired anniversary Card

As I said in my last post, I love a good heart motif. I also really like birds, butterflies, and leaves, but I digress, this card is my rendition of this card. The design is the same, but I have changed the size, supplies, and colors.

CASE-ing a card

I made this card as an anniversary card and in my fashion, turned it into a 5x7 card.  I made changes based on the supplies I have and fussy cutting all those heart...eek.  I copied this design (to a degree) of Nina-Marie Trapani on youtube.  She was using a new Tim Holtz release.  She also used ink blending.  Like I said, I tweaked the card to suit what I had, but if there is a heart or butterfly involved...I am here for it.  I was watching a cardmaking class recently and the instructor said she has to buy anything with butterflies.  I feel that way about hearts and butterflies, but alas, I do not have the funds to buy all the things.  Anyway, this is my card.  I used a brush stroke stamp set, and a heart stamp set that is very old from stampin' up .

A special thank you card for a special friend

When a bookshelf shows up on your porch and you don't know where it came from, but your name is on it...you start to really wonder...hmmm, who knew we needed that??? A couple days after the delivery it was revealed to us who the gifter was.  My heart is full.  This is the card I made to thank her for her kind generosity.

Butterfly Note cards

I have learned through my cardmaking journey that I really enjoy stamping.  My stamp collection is very limited and I have a lot more die cutting ability, so my card making often revolves around die cutting.  A sweet friend from church likes to get card sets from me and this is the latest set I gifted her.  I love butterflies and this is a layering set from photoplay that I got from Scrapbook.com some time ago.  The papers are from an old echo park faith paper pad I got a Tuesday Mornings many years ago.  These little square cards turned out adorable.  I used Scrapbook.com ink pads and the white die cuts are from a pinkfresh studio die set I purchased from Scrapbook.com.  The finished size is 4.24 x 4.25
